SpeedTest.com.in is a powerful tool designed to measure the speed and consistency of your connection to the Internet. You can use it to verify that the speed your Internet Service Provider (ISP) promised you is the speed you are actually receiving, compare different ISPs, or test network connectivity in different areas of your home or office.
The measurements run directly against the ViberNet network infrastructure. This ensures you are testing against a high-performance server network optimized for low latency, which means you are measuring the true capabilities of your ISP with minimal routing interference. The platform is proudly developed by OpenLoop.
There are many speed test tools out there, but our mission is to help build a better Internet in India by offering a fast, beautiful, and completely ad-free alternative. We believe in giving users a choice: you shouldn’t be tied to a single provider, and you deserve complete transparency into your network's capabilities without intrusive trackers.
We wanted this project to be incredibly lightweight and fast. Developed entirely by the team at OpenLoop, the speed test tool runs on a streamlined Nginx stack powered by PHP for dynamic geographical routing, with a purely vanilla JavaScript frontend that operates smoothly across modern devices. We maintain strict control over our environments to ensure robust performance.
Speed is measured by downloading and uploading progressively larger data packets and calculating your network's peak throughput. Ping is calculated by measuring the time it takes before your browser actually starts receiving data on a request (often referred to as Time to First Byte). Jitter represents how stable your latency is—it calculates the average ping difference between consecutive measurements to determine network reliability.
ViberNet will never sell your data. We do not use tracking cookies. Your performance data is processed in real-time to generate your result and is strictly governed by the terms of our Privacy Policy.
Many factors influence speed test results, including local network conditions, background applications, and the peering arrangements your ISP has with our infrastructure. Another significant factor is the methodology used to calculate the result. While other tools may artificially inflate numbers, our tool is completely transparent in displaying raw, unfiltered network throughput directly to your browser.
